I agree fish cooks fine in a microwave, but thereafter the
microwave and its fan and vents smell like fish, and while
you can clean the interior surfaces you can't really get
the fish smell out of the microwave. It disappears only after
a couple days.

I find it unattractive to be reheating my morning cofeee and get
a fish smell blown into the kitchen. It's not worth it.
