I am thankful that it has been a long while, but I can remember being
in situations, like a road trip with a long stretch of turnpike, where
you'd have to eat what was available. I'd try to hold out for a pope
yes and get the rice and beans, with a pepper or two. I like that
they can get white folks in the malls to eat pickled jalepenos. That
price for a few cents worth of rice and beans is ridiculous, but when
you consider the alternatives . . . And you do get that high quality
styrofoam and a spork.
