eh, true.
just think, *we* could have had the first particle
accellerator, but the funding got yanked after several
billion & partial completion... because despite the whinging
about the lack of teaching it, science is a red-headed
stepchild in the US. the Fundies don't really *want* science
taught, because critical thinking is eeeeeeevul.
