I used to buy Lou-Anne coconut oil too. It was inexpensive and
pretty good. Comes in a white plastic container and I bought it at
Wal-Mart.. Then there are small glass jars in my local supermarket,
more expensive and organic, forgot the brand.
I have bought a jar of the coconut oil Dr. Ben Kim sells.
That stuff is awesome!! I was not prepared for the taste difference
between The Lou-Anne product and this premium unrefined virgin
coconut oil. Frying chicken breast in it, or shrimp, is delicious.
I sometimes just eat a teaspoonful of it for taste. Yummy!
This oil is obtained by centrifuge separation from fresh coconut milk.
And it was never heated. Expensive, but what a treat!!!
