Anyone remember Bel Isles in Anaheim/Garden Grove, it was on the
corner of Chapman and Harbor by Disneyland. Bright pink building.
They served huge portions, giant Coke glasses with 2 foot straws and
they had pies with the mile high meringues. If you ordered a slice of
pineapple upsidedown cake you ended up with a piece that was at least
6" by 6". Their individual chicken platter was big enough to serve a
family of 4 easily. I hear it was torn down several years ago.
