Well, just to let you know...you haven't missed anything... (When I lived in
TX, there were fast food/pizza chain locations *everywhere*. Seems like you
almost have to go out of your way here in the northeast to find fast
food--not that that's a BAD thing or anything. Just an observation.)

Yeah, well, it's a chain, just like all the rest. The last time I tried
their pizza was back in the early '90's in Houston, when hubby (then
boyfriend) and I stopped in for a bite before heading to a New Year's Eve
party. Their dough was so heavy, it stayed like a lump in my stomach for
days afterward! Never again.

Our current fave around here is Solana (http://www.solanapizza.net/). It's
the best NY-style pizza we've found in this area. Their subs (including
cheesesteaks) are pretty good, too. There are a lot of pizza places here,
while not as good as Solana, are OK in a pinch (we have coupons for many of
them).

In the Houston area, our favorite chain was Brothers Pizza. It's the real
deal, too.
