Sometimes we've had threads on likes and dislikes that don't make sense.
V-8 is a classic example for me. The thought of drinking it cold
makes me gag. The thought of using it for the broth in a vegetable soup
or a beef stew is delightful. I do that all the time.


Cabbage-tomato soup with V-8 is excellent.
Beef stew with onions, sweet potatoes, carrots, turnips and mushrooms in
V-8 base is another favorite around here.
