Aww. Zane is entirely capable of entertaining himself for hours at a
time with his herd of basketballs but he'll abandon them in a heartbeat
if he can get somebody to actually throw a ball for him. Tugging is
good, too, but the very best is when the kids play on the trampoline.
He jumps up there with them with a ball, and they kick the ball across
the yard for him.

Right now he's sitting next to me "saying his prayers". Seated next to
me, front paws on my thigh, head bowed. He knows it's adorable, and
he's praying for pizza crust. He is an extremely devout dog. He knows
if I laugh he's won.
