Anyone else out there eaten live mealworms?
I found them to be actually quite nice with a 'runny walnutty' kind of
flavour and texture.
The trick with them seems to be to gently bite the heads and pull the
innards out first. You spit them out and the rest is quite nice.
If you try this don't forget to clean their insides first by feeding
them on clean bran for a day or two the same way you prepare fresh
snails for eating!! Which is the topic for yet another thread!!
