I can understand setting things out in a protected place if there's
snow on the ground and the temperature stays cold. I was able to wear
Bermuda shorts too many times in winter (with 3 feet of snow on the
ground) to think that practice would be advisable during the daytime -
even in the dead of a snowy winter. Maybe burying it in a snowbank
would work for daytime.
