Oh lordy, I feel you there! I try to do that at least every 3 or 4
years... Any food that's been frozen over that amount of time is not
recoverable for the most part.

I hate freezer burn.

Fortunately, I've gotten into the habit of writing dates on all frozen
food for the last 6 or 7 years so I KNOW how old it is.
