Hi Miche!

Barb - as Miche says we call cookies biscuits - hence a bikky or biccies
(spelling not formalised :-))

Although you will see "cookies" for sale and will hear people say it - like
a lot of American terms it's become quite common here, but biscuit is still
the more usual term. I have a bit of a thing about keeping "Australian"
alive and try very hard to avoid using "cookie" when I should be using
biscuit.
