Yeah, sure, go for it.
Every so often someone complains and says the non-topic spam is worse
than usual, or the ordinary spam is worse than usual, or what's up
with the trolls lately? Nothing is better or worse than it always has
been - these posts, for instance, are totally off-topic. As far as I
know, nobody who's been around here, lurking and posting, for a decade
or so is interested in a moderator, and such a proposal would never
pass the votes (required in a rec.* group), so those of you who think
it's a necessity, just go off and make your own exclusive group, which
will make everyone happy.
And, for the record, the only acceptable rules for flaming are "Don't
set the house on fire."
