Our holiday gifts to our family are calendars with pictures I have taken
of our travels during the year. Each family gets an individual calendar
with the dates for for them and their in-laws, etc marked with clip art
like birthday cakes on birthdays, etc. I take them to Office Depot where
they bind them with a plastic spine and my DH punches holes to they can
be hung on a wall. There is plenty of room to writ things in.

It takes me days to make them and a lot of ink and special double-sided
photo paper, but they treasure them. For 2007, I was still too sick to
make them and they all missed getting them that year.

I use Word Perfect to make the calendars and assorted clip art from
greeting card programs or other sources.
