Having posted about it, I decided to stop being a nervous nellie. So
my dinner on Friday night was a grilled cheese sandwich: whole wheat
bread, monterey jack cheese, and raspberry jam. It was OK but not
amazing. I did make a control sandwich with mustard and monterey
jack, and that was a little better. I think the monterey jack is too
bland to make a good grilled cheese.

So, I will continue to experiment. I only put the jam on one side of
the bread, that may have been a problem. And I'll try a more
flavorful cheese.
