Quite a few of the greengrocers around this area provide 'tasting
trays' in their fruit section. For everything from grapes, to
oranges/grapefruit.
They lose maybe 6-12 items per day (except for the grapes!!!)........
but they sell a helluva lot more because people know what they are
getting.
And it's quite funny that most people, when confronted with a tasting
tray, won't taste the item, but will buy it out of hand because they
think that "Hey, if he's got it out there, it must be alright!"
