I've never been able to overwinter thyme indoors; it always dies off
within a month or two.
I did manage to overwinter a rosemary plant for several years, but lost
it two years ago and haven't succeeded with another since.
I end up starting with new seedlings each spring, unfortunately; I
suspect the problem is I don't have a room cool enough for them.
