Barack and Michelle had dinner last night at Equinox, which is
reportedly around the corner from Blair House. The menu is he
http://www.equinoxrestaurant.com/men...nox_dinner.pdf

For starters, I'd probably go with the Cream of Parsnip and Granny
Smith Apple Soup with In-House Duck Confit, Roasted Shallots and Apple
Julienne

Next, would be the Grilled Striploin of All Natural Beef with Slow
Roasted Potato Pave, English Walnut Butter and Wilted Arrowleaf
Spinach

Then I'd finish with the Bittersweet Chocolate-Praline Terrine with
White Chocolate Quenelle, Gianduja Chocolate Sauce, and Crispy Cocoa
Tuille

These things are offered on the dinner menu, though. Lunch is out
there someplace nearby. I wonder what he ordered?

Anyhow, I'd like to drink a bottle or two of Audacity of Hops brew.
It's an "inauguale," or so I've read:

Note that it's flavored with coffee -- beans from Kenya, Hawaii, and
Indonesia -- and with "Progress" and "Liberty" hops, which allegedly
are varieties of hops. I wouldn't know.
