A couple of the Cantonese restaurants in town do a great deep-fried
shrimp where the batter is 2/3rds cheese parmesean/romano cheese -
or a similar cheese.
I really like those, and that's what I was thinking when I announced
my dish. And yes, I know these are quite a strange item to be on a
Cantonese menu.
