Default Cook's Illustrated Annuals

No, all you need to do is register with the site using a valid e-mail
address. However, as I've mentioned elsewhere, the free content on the site
is only from the previous year, and it doesn't contain *everything* from the
previous year. So I continue to buy the hardbound annuals.

If you're not subscribed for "Premium Content" but you have the annuals (or
the old magazines), you can use the site as a kind of index. Search for a
recipe you want to find, and the site will bring up a page which states that
the recipe is not available to non-subscribers -- but it'll also state when
the recipe was published, so you can go back into your hard copy to find it.
