The first recipe we learned to make in Junior High HomeEc class. I
started all my kids on this recipe back when they were probably about 4?

Raggedy Robin Cookies


Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
-------- ------------ --------------------------------
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup cocoa
1/2 cup milk
1 stick margarine
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 cups oats, rolled (raw)

Mix sugar, cocoa, milk and margarine in large saucepan. Melt over
medium heat and bring to a boil.
Boil for 1 1/2 minutes.
Remove from heat and add peanut butter, vanilla and oats.
Mix and drop onto wax paper to cool.
