Good question. LileK is an author who collected photos and excerpts from
old cook books (and advertising in magazines dealing with cooking). Most of
his material comes from the 1930's - 1950's. I find the site hiliarious,
especially since I've seen images drawn like that in cookbooks that belonged
to my mother. There's the Happy Father grilling super steaks while the
Smiling Mother makes Jell-O in neat shapes to serve to the spotlessly clean
kids for dessert. Made with 7-Up! LOL
