Amen to that! Very bad idea for any hot liquid, as well as the fact
that spilling can happen easily. The only thing those are good for is
being able to "pinch" them so as to pour such as flour into a beaters-
running mixer bowl sparingly to avoid showering dry ingredients
about. For that one good-to-buy-em feature, just spend a couple
dollars on a flexible cutting mat, or spoon in the drys.
