That's how I usually do things, to tell you the truth. That's how I
was taught to prepare things for baking. I just left this recipe
completely intact, since it has such a weird outcome. I didn't want
to make it any weirder. It's very good, though. Especially with ice
cream. You just have to decide if you're gonna put the ice cream ON
the brownie or UNDER the brownie. Heehee!

Leaving the nuts out wouldn't make a bit of difference in the finished
product, other than that it wouldn't have nuts.
