Some friends left for a month in the Caribbean. I make caramel
popcorn with peanuts and they took 2 gallons of it with them and wrote
as they left to thank us. It's a simple recipe but it takes arm
strength to make it without breaking the kernels. None of our friends
can make it. They have wine labeled for their charter boat so they
give us wine and we give them caramel corn. Wine has little effect on
me but Louise get toasted. The last time we drank the wine she got
all silly and pulled my britches down in the kitchen. Upon conclusion
I said I have to send Katie more popcorn. Louise found it so funny
she spit a foreign substance on the kitchen floor.
Moral of the story is make lots of caramel corn and drink it closer to
the sink.
