I am neither a man nor stupid. And YOU should read what you said. Your
exact words we

"With a bit of luck he will go and do the decent thing
and remove himself from this mortal coil. The sooner the better."

How is that NOT wishing death upon someone? And how does your quoting
'with a bit of luck' make it better? In fact it makes it a whole lot
worse. You're saying that if we're all lucky, this person will go off
and kill himself, and the sooner the better.

Anyway you cut it, you're expressing the hope that someone will soon
go and kill himself. That is a disgusting and inhuman thing to say in
anyone's book. And I don't care whether the troll has said similar
things to you : YOU ought to know better.
