Might be... depends on the dish. If leeks are supposed to be the main
ingredient, a substitution could still yield a very good result, but it
would be a different dish. Leeks are in the onion family, so onions,
chives, perhaps even garlic would naturally come to mind, but so would
also celery stalks, for example.
