It is a cruel disease. I know a guy who has had Stage four cancer for at
least two years. He seems to be doing very well under the circumstances.
He was well enough last summer that he and his wife were going to go
on vacation. She was all packed and ready to go but had a appointment
with her doctor because she was felling a little run down. The doctor
took her immediately to the hospital. He didn't just send her. He took
her there personally and had her admitted. Tests confirmed that she was
riddled with cancer and they gave her a week at most. She was died four
days later. That was last summer and he is still hanging on.
