Have you tried? You can turn out some pretty good eats by using wood
chips or chunks in a pie pan on one burner, with the meat set to the
side over an unlighted burner.
NOTE TO ONLOOKERS: Google has archived the many, many discussions
about whether or not this technique yields BBQ. No need to resurrect
it.
