She wasn't "lugging it around"... she was saving it for the grandbabies
she hoped to have.

I have my kids silver baby cups and some of their silver spoons and
forks. My daughter's was provided by the military company my husband was
with that year and it has her birthday written in "military" format
(day, month, year) which I thought was funny as some male soldier
probably was in charge of ordering the engraving.
The cups hang on the wall off a little peg shelf in the kitchen corner.
