Indeed. They recommend a good 15-20 minutes at high before cooking with it.

Speaking of sausages, Bob got a new LEM sausage stuffer. I'm looking
forward to seeing fresh sausage on the grill (though I won't be
partaking of much of it unless it's something in the chicken/apple variety).
