I had a Fiat 850 Spyder convertible sports car for a few years.
It was the most fun car I ever had, despite having such a tiny
engine (just under 50 cu in, so it qualified for treatment as
a motorcycle under some smog law somewhere). Fun to drive
on the freeway in the rain with the top down, because the
windshield kept the interior dry. As long as I didn't stop,
I didn't get wet (except for the top of my head).

Nowadays, I care more about safety and wouldn't be likely to own
a convertible again. Especially a lightweight car like that
which would go into a skid at the least provocation on a wet
street.
