I promote spay/neuter wherever and whenever I can for cats and dogs.
IMHO people that don't do it are irresponsible and responsible for
literally thousands of unnecessary deaths.

Birth control in birds is easier. Refrigerate the eggs then return them
to the nest after 48 hours.
