Those fence posts are only 4'... the wire is 4' but sits about a foot above
the posts so I have a one foot space to mow/weed underneath. The top of the
fence is only 5', and occasionally a deer will bend the fence in a bit to
nibble. Deer are not so small, they can easy nibble at 5' and when they
rear up a bit they can reach 7'-8'. I simply have to have patience, deer
stay about the same height, trees grow taller, slow but sure. In real life
deer don't play with antelope... all animals are racist.
