I forgot to mention the cream puffs! lol! My mom wanted cream puffs.
They're her favorite and she doesn't indulge often, so I wanted to make them
special. I made a vanilla bean custard and a meyer lemon curd with lemons
from my tree. Made the choux paste and piped them out, they puffed up
beautifully. After they were cooled and the custard and the curd were
chilled, I whipped up some whipping cream, which I then folded into the
custard and the lemon curd, and piped into the shells. Even did some of them
with both!

I also melted some chocolate with a little cream and dipped
the tops of a couple. I'd like to say we had all this will power and waited
until after dinner to indulge. Yep, I'd like to say that....but I can't! ;-)
