My oven is self cleaning and the room stays cool unless the door is
open. I don't bake with the door open and I don't cool off the oven
with the door open unless I want to heat up the room. Even when the
oven self cleans, *heat* isn't an issue - although smoke can be.

The oven issues people talk about here are NOT issues for me (makes me
wonder if they're renting and have to deal with cheap sh*t
appliances). I don't hesitate to use my oven on the hottest days.
Cooking with electric on hot days is fine by me too, but I'm not so
sure about using this gas stove top. Those gas burners put out quite
a blast of heat. This is more like cooking over a gas fireplace. I
never experienced that sort of "get back" feeling with electric.

I love cooking with wine.
Sometimes I even put it in the food.
