The big ones are quite roomy. I'm very claustrophobic and I never had a
problem living in our fifth wheels. I loved being able to travel and
never leave home. The 9 years we spent traveling all over North America
were really wonderful. I learned so much about our wonderful country.
There were some not so good days, but over all, I wouldn't give back a
single minute of those 9 wonderful years.
We stopped for similar reasons to Koko's. DH's medical issues were
getting a little more serious and I just wanted a place to come home to
if something serious happened. Not even two months after we bought the
house, we wrecked our truck and trailer in a hydroplaning accident. The
truck and trailer were totaled but we walked away with some bruises and
scratches.
We got a motor home with the insurance proceeds, but we never liked it
and as DH was having more mobility issues, we sold it right before the
bottom fell out of the RV industry. We've been traveling the globe on
the proceeds, but I don't think he'll be able to travel much longer.
