I don't think that you should cook raw meat in the microwave, and I
think that most Koreans, North or South, would agree. The Koreans
steam, boil, stew, and make the dog into soup, but I've never heard of
them microwaving it.

We were never "at war with North Korea."

Without a single nuke the PRK could level Seoul in hours. There's no
