I notice that no one mentioned the "Chinese cherry", aka Chinese
lantern fruit, aka Physalis.

Its flavor goes well with both sweet and savory
foods. Ran into them in Prague served with
venison and sweet/sour braised cabbage. Balsamic
reduction .

Alex, who's not seen them for sale here in the US.
