I belive that the sole reason why Facebook has supplanted MySpace is
that Newscorp bought MySpace, and so many people hate Newscorp/Fox
News/Rupert Murdoch that when they had an alternative they took it. I
like MySpace's format and functionality better than Facebook's, and
I'm among those who hate Newscorp/Fox News/Rupert Murdoch.
