Well if you really have a strong dislike for the fruit no amount of
explanation can help in changing your perspective about durian.
Even many people do not like durian raw or cooked.....
Therefore I am lucky then that I was able to appreciate its unque
flavours.
I had tried to puree the raw fruit pulp once to make into a durian
juice and add some water and sugar;indeed in its raw state you can
still smelll the distinc raw smell.
..But if I boil it in syrupy water to cook, the chemical reaction9 in
the caramelization process) that ensues modifies the taste becoming
more apprecciable and the flavor is best if you blend it some
pasion fruit juice or even other juices such as mango and orange
..For variation I can spike it with grand marnier or even just good
brandy...
