Steve - It's a very common breakfast meat here in the US. Patty it up
like miniature hamburgers, and fry till crusting on the outside, and
juicy on the inside. But we also use it in other ways, like the scotch
eggs you mentioned. One of my favorites is fried and broken up into
small pieces to add to a poultry stuffing (Turkey, chicken, etc.).
