My "big boned" cat Bailey is always on the listen for when the fridge
door opens :-) He's on a permanent diet of about a 1/8 cup of dry food
twice daily. But he's so good at begging (up on his haunches and bats
your thighs) that I frequently him him a kitty size taste of what I'm
having. The other night I wasn't hungry at all, and I hadn't had any
vegetables all day. So I put a pat of butter onto some frozen vegetables
and nuked for 4 minutes. He tried one each of corn, peas, carrot, green
bean, and butter bean. He didn't actually eat any of them, but he did
suck on them till even the smell of butter was gone <g>
