I was just looking over the farm's pick your own schedule and they mention
"Fall" strawberries (new for 2009). Harvest from mid August to mid October.
First I've heard of them.

I'll be out standing in my field on July 25th up to my ears in corn! :9 The
annual corn festival, one day only. I hope they have a good harvest.

My local corner corn stand didn't plant this year but they're still trucking
it there for sale. They only planted maybe 100 stalks so it was just for
show. It was great seeing a cornfield on a city street corner! Oh well.
