He wasn't a housepainter. Churchill said that in a
famous speech, and it stuck.

There was an article in Life magazine shortly after
the war which showed about a dozen examples of
Hitler's paintings. He was rather good. I couldn't
paint anything nearly as well as he could.

I've also seen an article which showed a rather poor
example of his painting. I think this was selected
to cast disrepute on his talent, and is not
representative of his body of work.
