I don't even try to make crab cakes. DW is from Maryland and I lived
there for a couple of years too. Her folks house was 20 feet from a salt
water inlet off the Patuxent River and we caught crabs anywhere along
there in the late fifties. MIL made some mean crab cakes as did every
restaurant around the area.

Tonight we had insalat caprese, our own basil and tomatoes, someone
else's fresh mozzarella. Too hot to eat anything heavy.
