Well, let`s take a quick poll, shall we?

Looking at headers to the 85 posts this morning that pass through my
aggressive filters, I count 16 out of 24 that are food related topics. A
few are trolls, a few are spam, there are some that are rfc related without
being strictly on topic such as this one, and the rest are clearly
identifiable as OT. So, given that one has eyes with which to see, what
would compel me to pay any attention whatsoever to the off-topic stuff if
I, as a stand-in for you, say, in this example, was not interested in
reading any of it? Nothing, that's what.
