The OP posted a poorly composed statement:

"It has always taken long to heat up/cool down, but seems longer
lately."

They apparently expect us readers to disregard the reference to both the
"heat up/cool down" and also to interpret that statement as a question.

When the OP posts a coherent question in proper english, then perhaps
they will receive the responses they seem to be expecting.
