Chewing them up, I can't swallow them.
It's a lot like shredded coconut.
Like trying to swallow shredded paper!
The funny thing is, I think there there are others that really do feel
the same way. For instance, my sister asked me to put raw carrots on the
crudite tray for Thanksgiving one year, so I did.
All the celery sticks, raw zucchini, portabello strips, broccoli and
cauliflower got eaten. Only a few of the raw "baby" carrots got eaten.
I kept what was left of them in the 'frige and cooked them later for
another dinner.
For Christmas, I did another crudite tray and this time, I lightly
steamed the baby carrots.
They got wiped out that time. ;-)
