It's there for the plebs that don't know about real cheese.


I haven't bought 'supermarket cheese' for about 5 years now..... unless I
can see the wheel it's being cut from, it doesn't come home with me.

The bulk of my cheese comes from here........

The rest comes from my favourite deli who, over the years, have widened
their cheese range enormously.

I wait patiently for their stock of Grana Padano and Pamigiano-Reggiano to
run down, and I'm usually the first one in to get a couple of slabs off
the new wheels :-)

Once they cut a wheel, they then cut the whole wheel into pieces and
vacuum pack it all to maintain some freshness. But the first slabs are
wonderful!!
